Two homeless men from Africa were arrested under suspicion of raping a woman on a street in Paris this week, according to reports.
The disturbing incident unfolded at around 11 p.m. on Thursday night in the 19th arrondissement of the French capital.
Witnesses alerted police about suspicious men who appeared to be rifling through a woman's belongings near Place de la Bataille-de-Stalingrad.
Cops encountered two male suspects and a female nearby who appeared dazed and confused.
She told officers she had just been raped by the men after they drugged her.
"They offered her to drink from a bottle, telling her that there was no alcohol in it," a police source explained to Actu 17.
The woman reportedly accepted the drink offer for unknown reasons, but soon became disoriented.
A bottle of orange juice was found at the scene and submitted for testing.
The suspects were arrested and identified as two men from Algeria, aged 20 and 26.
The 32-year-old victim was taken to hospital to undergo an examination and toxicological analysis to determine if she was drugged.
An investigation is ongoing.
