Ambulance, Police Bombarded With Stones by 'Youths' in Brussels

Emergency responders and police have once again been ambushed in Brussels, Belgium, as a group of 'youths' attacked them with stones and attempted to steal from an ambulance, according to reports.

On Sunday afternoon, a medical team was rushed to the Model District in the suburb of Laeken after the Brussels emergency services received a call about a person in urgent distress.

Upon arriving, the emergency crew could not locate any person in need of medical attention.

When they returned to their ambulance, they discovered a suspect inside the vehicle attempting to steal items, SCEPTR reports.

“Once on the spot, our team noticed that someone was in the ambulance and trying to commit theft,” a police spokeswoman explained. "When the police intervened, they were immediately pelted with stones by a number of young people who were present in the Model District."

When police reinforcements arrived, they were also bombarded with stones by the youth gang.

“Fortunately there were no injuries. The windshield of our police vehicle is damaged," the spokeswoman said.

The incident is the latest in a surge of mob attacks and ambushes of police officers and first responders in Belgium.

Such events have become commonplace in Brussels, particularly in districts with large migrant populations, as Infowars Europe has reported.
