French police arrested a trio of suspects who attacked a driver and passengers with bats and pepper spray aboard a bus in metro Paris this week, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded during the overnight hours between Thursday and Friday in Bobigny, a commune in the suburbs of the capital city.
Riders were beaten by an armed gang as the vehicle passed through the culturally-enriched department of Seine-Saint-Denis, Actu reports.
"Last night at Bobigny, a driver and his 2 passengers were violently attacked by a group of individuals armed with baseball bats and tear gas," the Paris Police Prefecture explained on social media.
