Crisis at Berlin Pool After Woman's Nose Broken by Violent Suspect

A swimming facility in Germany was shut down amid mass unrest sparked by an attack on a young woman by a male suspect this week, according to reports.

The latest incident of its kind unfolded on Sunday afternoon in Neukölln, a borough of Berlin.

A 21-year-old woman was waiting in line for a water slide at the Columbiabad aquatic center when a group of 'youths' surrounded her and began spraying her with water pistols against her protestations.

As the situation escalated, a man estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old pointed a water gun in the woman's face, pulled the trigger, and then spat on her.

"The man suddenly hit her in the face with the water gun and broke her nose," Junge Freiheit reports.

"When the police arrived, around 250 visitors harassed the officials and the security guards at the outdoor pool."

The facility was ultimately closed due to safety concerns.

The latest outbreak of violence at a Berlin swimming pool comes on the heels of massive brawl among migrants at another 'freibad' in the German capital last week.

"The Federal Association of German Swimming Pool Masters was alarmed last week," Junge Freiheit reports. "Its president, Peter Harzheim, said he could no longer recommend families to go to the open-air pool on the weekend with a clear conscience."

"The German police union also warns against visiting German outdoor pools. The perpetrators are mainly young, migrant men."

In 2019, a staunchly feminist magazine in Germany defied the rules of mainstream journalism, penning a scathingly frank exposé on the destruction of European swimming culture by migrants and foreign men.
