'I Don't Take Orders From Women' - Muslim Migrant Suspected of Stabbing Pregnant Boss in Italy

A man from Bangladesh was arrested in Italy last week after stabbing his pregnant boss because he was outraged she had assigned him a task, according to reports.

The horrifying incident unfolded at around 9 a.m. on Thursday at a laundry and tailoring shop in Marzano Appio, a commune in the Province of Caserta.

Workers and pedestrians say they heard "inhumane screams" coming from inside the business as the 38-year-old female owner was jabbed repeatedly with a pair of scissors by the suspect, a 23-year-old man named Mohammed, Il Giornale reports.

Mohammed had been asked by his female boss to carry out duties related to a customer order when he flew into a rage, the victim says.

"I don't take orders from women, that's enough,” the suspect yelled at his victim, who is five months pregnant.

He stabbed her in the chest many times in a "murderous fury" before her husband rushed in to defend her.

The Bangladeshi fled the scene but was arrested shortly afterwards.

The woman was rushed to hospital for medical treatment and an assessment of her unborn baby. Both are expected to be okay.

Islam is the official state religion of Bangladesh. Over 90 percent of Bangladeshis identified as Muslims in a 2011 Population and Housing Census.
