Police raided an American journalist's apartment in Turin, Italy, while he was in town covering the 2018 Bilderberg meeting.
Josh Friedman's story was picked up by international media after anti-terror officers smashed through the door of his rented flat at 3 a.m., where he was detained at gunpoint and grilled about his identity and reason for being in Turin.

Infowars Europe bureau chief Dan Lyman was also detained by military police while reporting on Bilderbergers' exits at Turin-Caselle Airport.
