Moroccan Family Attacks Belgian Police After Teen Headbutts Officer

A police officer in Belgium suffered serious injuries when he was headbutted by a 16-year-old Moroccan male whose large family attacked cops as they arrested the suspect, according to reports.

The teen, who was previously known to authorities, was approached by officers over his lack of face mask at a McDonald's in the city of Aalst on Wednesday.

During a confrontation which quickly escalated, the young man reportedly headbutted one of the officers, SCEPTR reports.

As reinforcements arrived to arrest teen and take him into custody, a group of around 15 of his family members gathered at the scene and attempted to forcefully free the teen from the police wagon.

While the teen is expected to face charges, it is unclear if any of his family members will be penalized for their actions.

Mob attacks on police and first responders have become commonplace in Belgium and neighboring countries, as Infowars Europe has frequently reported.

An officer was recently beaten and mugged by a group of  ‘youths’ after he attempted to enforce face mask rules on a train in Brussels.

During another incident in Brussels, an officer was injured when a crowd attempted to violently intervene in the arrest of a man carrying drugs.
