Swiss Launch Major Protests Against COVID Passports

COVID passports are now mandatory to enter many indoor spaces in Switzerland, including restaurants, bars, gyms, and venues.

The federal government gave just five days notice ahead of a nationwide mandate that went into effect on September 13, sparking massive demonstrations against medical tyranny in the capital city of Bern and across the nation.

Infowars Europe was on the ground in Luzern to cover growing protests which are expected to continue for months to come.

Some estimates indicate between 10,000 – 15,000 people turned out to march in the capital within hours of the government's announcement on Wednesday.

"Unlike our neighbors, we Swiss never protest, demonstrate or go on strike. If you see Swiss people demonstrating in the streets, it means that something is VERY wrong," wrote Swiss independent journalist Based Helvetia alongside a photo of thousands in the streets of Bern last week.

One Swiss citizen who has been participating in protests against COVID tyranny since last year told Infowars he is glad the vaccine passport has been introduced in such a sudden and oppressive manner as it may shock a large percentage of the population out of their comfort zone.

Individuals caught violating COVID passport rules can initially be fined CHF 100 (~$108) while businesses could face steeper penalties.
