Mobs of ‘young people’ have been causing major disruptions at a swimming and leisure facility in Geneva, Switzerland, officials say.
Large groups of youths ranging between 13 and 17 years old, many of whom come from nearby France, have perpetrated "thefts, destruction in the changing rooms, fights, insults, disrespect towards fellow bathers and staff" at Genève-Plage, according to 20 Minutes.
"The problems have never started so early in the season," said manager Christian Marchi. "We have been observing it since 2020 – I cannot explain the cause – but it is gaining momentum."
"We have two security guards. Usually, the second does not begin to work until June. However, we had to ask him to take office in advance. One generally screens the public at the checkouts, the other patrols between the lawns and the ponds."
More than 20 people have already been banned from the lakeside recreation park since it opened for the season on May 14, compared with around 50 in all of 2021.
Marchi says some troublemakers attempt to evade their expulsion by wearing disguises but their faces are known.
With clientele being driven away, a zero-tolerance policy is now being enforced, and police are called when necessary.
"Frankly, this situation hurts my heart, but we have no other solutions.” Marchi said.
The incident is just the latest in a slew of similar episodes taking place at swimming pools across Europe, as Infowars has reported.
In 2019, a staunchly feminist magazine in Germany defied the rules of mainstream journalism, penning a scathingly frank exposé on the destruction of European swimming culture by migrants and foreign men.
If we are unwilling to come together and lawfully police our elected leaders then we don’t deserve freedom.
