Multiple Spanish police officers were injured trying to arrest a violent African migrant who had been arrested and released after a similar rampage a day earlier, according to reports.
The incident unfolded at around 8 p.m. on Saturday night in Córdoba, a city in Andalusia.
Authorities were alerted about a man who was throwing tables and chairs outside a cafe on a busy street near the city center.
Traffic in the area was halted as officers attempted to restrain the suspect using "the least possible force."
Footage of the battle was shared on social media.
The suspect can be seen fighting a large group of at least eight officers as onlookers watch.
"Several officers had to use their defensive weapons to subdue this person," ABC Córdoba reports.
"At one point, the aggressor knocks down an agent with a punch in the presence of the rest and numerous passers-by. Two agents of the National Police of Córdoba were slightly injured."
A day before, the African was reportedly arrested for a similar altercation, processed by the court, and released just hours prior to Saturday's melee.
It's official: America is now in a civil war.
